CombiLac®

CombiLac® is a lactose-based co-processor specifically designed to simplify the development and production of oral solid dosage forms.

It consists of 70% α-lactose monohydrate, 20% microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) and 10% corn starch, and each ingredient meets the requirements of Ph.Eur, USP-NF and JP Pharmacopoeia. These three separate components are integrated into a granular structure, which cannot be separated by physical means.

CombiLac® shows good compressibility compared to an equivalent mixture of the individual ingredients, thus providing tablets with minimal friability. It can ensure the tablet's rapid, independent disintegration of hardness to effectively release the API, and has enhanced uniformity of the content of the direct compression tablet and good powder flow characteristics.
